Guardians of the Reef is a group of high school students that come together to
teach elementary students about coral reefs.
The Guardians have yearly training where they form groups of two people and create presentations about corals, why they are important and what we can do to help save the reefs. These presentations are then taken to as many elementary classrooms as possible.
This group was started by the Guam Coastal Management Program under the Bureau of Statistics and Plans with the assistance of Linda Tatreau of George Washington High School and other teachers on Guam.
